We are not old enough (cough cough) to remember getting a mug for the jubilee in 1977 when we had a big fete at the junior school with donkey rides and jelly and everything. So we will be making up for it this time by drinking jelly from our new official Diamond Jubilee mugs. Frankly a silver jubilee is massively overshadowed by a diamond one anyway, silver is strictly for amateur monarchs. God save the Queen!
